My Story

My name is Claudine and I am very excited to share my story with you!

The start of my journey into health & nutrition

I was born and grew up in France. After completing my Master degree in Plant Chemistry in Lyon, I moved to Scotland 15 years ago. Since then, I have worked with several food and drink companies as a research and development technologist & manager, developing new or existing food and drink products for the UK or international markets.  I also have a PhD in biochemistry, so you can guess, I love learning, studying, and knowing even more that I knew yesterday!

The birth of a passion for food and healthy lifestyle

Since living in the UK, I have noticed the difference in our approach to food between my home country and my country of adoption and it has always raised some interesting discussions with my friends, family or colleagues…

My French background influences me greatly in my day-to-day approach to food.  I had the chance to grow up in a rural setting, with my parents taking great pride in their garden and animals they raised to feed the family. ‘Organic’ was not a terminology used during my childhood, but any food we would eat at home was organically grown, simply but tastefully cooked by my Mum.  The respect for food and its origin, the respect for animals, too, as well as the joy of sharing a meal as a family are concepts that my parents shared with me from an early age (as well as the love for cooking, eating and drinking good wines!). When I decided to study nutrition and registered with the IINH, I wanted to explore the science behind the food we eat and the impact on our wellbeing. 

Today, as a graduated Nutrition and Health coach, I want to share my knowledge and my passion for food to help future generations to live a better, healthier life.

I am looking forward to sharing this experience with all of you!
